Quick & Easy Peanut Sauce
Dishes like sate chicken are inconceivable without a peanut sauce.
The peanut sauce has a strong taste and is incredibly nutty. Pieces of meat can be dipped in peanut sauce and get a divine coating of exotic spices that seduce your taste.
Special attention must be paid to the peanut butter, the main ingredient in this sauce. If you haven’t tried peanut butter for cooking yet, use several different brands of peanut butter. You will be surprised by the enormous differences.
Also, experiment with peanut butter variations that are smooth and crunchy. I prefer the peanut butter smooth when I’m making a peanut sauce. However, I prefer to use peanut marinade with pieces.

Soy free - A mixture of balsamic vinegar, sugar and salt is a good substitute if you cannot use the soy sauce.
Fresh note - ginger is a good complement to give the sauce a fresh taste.
Spicy - Sambal Olek or a fresh red chili give the sauce more spice.

Time saving tip: Put all ingredients in a pot without stirring them. As soon as you need the peanut sauce, heat it up quickly.
-
The peanut sauce is kept in the refrigerator for 2 days without loss of taste.
-
The sauce is thicker if you want to warm it up again. Add several tablespoons of water to achieve the desired consistency.
