Ingredients

 500 g low-fat curd cheese
 200 g sour cream
 2 tbsp parsley (chopped)
 2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)
 ½ onion (very finely chopped)
 2 tsp vinegar
 1 tsp sugar
 1 tsp salt
 1 pinch pepper

Directions

Mix the low-fat curd cheese, sour cream and vinegar in a bowl.

Add salt, pepper and sugar and mix.

Add the remaining ingredients: parsley, onions and garlic. Stir again.

Let the sour cream soak for at least 60 minutes.

Variations

Creamy - add another cup of sour cream. It tastes even creamier and less like curd cheese.

Sugar-free - replace the sugar with a suitable amount of sweetener. Honey also offers an interesting variety of flavours and sweetness.

Other herbs - you can replace the parsley with chives, coriander or dill.

  • The Sour Cream can be made way before the actual meal. It can stay in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
