Grilled Cheese Sandwich With Roasted Bell Pepper
When you bite off, you immediately taste the buttery taste, the crunchy and juicy bread and the liquid cheese. The buttery flavors have been hammered into the bread while roasting in the pan. The paprika spreads roasted flavors and adds its sweet taste to the sandwich.
This is a sandwich for all cheese lovers.
Ingredients
Why Is The Recipe Great?
-
Crispy bread and liquid cheese are an unbeatable combination. The grilled paprika adds its light sweetness and rounds off the sandwich perfectly.
-
Three ingredients and some butter. This recipe is one of the simplest sandwiches.
Directions
Fry the bell pepper with a little bit of oil in the pan.
Brush the slices of toast from both sides with butter.

Toast the slices of toast on both sides of the pan so that they are crispy and golden.
Place the cheese on a slice of toast and cover with paprika. Then place the second cheese slice on top.
Cover the sandwich with the toast slice and squeeze together.
Fry the sandwich by repeatedly turning it, so that the cheese melts (about 6 minutes).

Variations
Meat lovers - you can't go wrong here. Add spicy or marinated meat such as beef, chicken or pork.
Other cheese - all types of cheese that melt well are suitable such as Brie, Tilsiter, Edam, Parmesan, Camembert, Emmentaler.
Fewer carbs - use wholemeal toast instead of normal wheat toast.
More vegetables - use vegetables that do not give off much water, such as spinach, onions, garlic, jalapeños.
A complete menu - a fresh (leaf) salad or a tomato salad is an ideal complement to the sandwich.
Tips & Time Savings

You can store any sandwich leftovers in the fridge for several days. Freezing is also possible.
-
You can warm up sandwiches from the day before in the pan. Simply heat the sandwiches at medium heat by turning them several times.
